New thing learned

I couldn't believe my ears when Emily told me the capital of Florida was Tallahassee!!

She can also say her pledge of allegiance and knows just about all her animals in sign language.

Something funny she said last week I waned to write down. I said "ouch my foot fell asleep." She responded with "no it didn't. It doesn't have eyeballs."

Emily's sign language

I couldn't believe my eyes yesterday. Emily had a stamp on her hand and I asked if she got that for being a good girl. She said she got it for doing sign language. Then she started showing me signs for a dog, cat, bird, horse, friends, eat, and more! Our little girl is so smart!!

Funny sayings

Yesterday Emily and daddy were playing and daddy says "I think so." Emily looks at daddy and says "hmm... I think not"

The other day she says " daddy you're my big boy. And mommy you're my human."

We sat down for dinner after I tried a new recipe and she says " mommy I want some real food."

This kid says the most random stuff! Lol

Emily took her first 2 steps!!

Emily finally took a few steps by herself! We're still building her confidence so she'll walk on her own some more, but she's getting there. She's so close!

Another milestone - took her first steps

Emily is modeling her new Christmas outfit and sneakers and standing ALL BY HERSELF! Yesterday at the daycare they said she walked all by herself. So proud of my big girl! She's growing up so fast. All she wants to do now is walk, walk, walk all over the place.

Busted!!

Now that Emily is crawling, a whole new world has opened up and she is curious about EVERYTHING. Even with a bag full of toys, she still manages to go for the neatly folded blankets, cords, or blinds. She's too funny. Here I caught her unfolding all of her blankets and towels I just folded a few min ago. I left her alone for a second and found here there lol

Not feeling good :(

Grandma's always know how to make you feel better when you're not feeling good, whether it's with a pot of homeade chicken soup or a little touch of love. Poor emily has been vomiting a lot today. They sent her home from day care. I really think it was something she ate that didn't agree with her. Grandma came over to help and Emily fell right asleep in her arms. She played hard with grandma!
