My first mother's day was amazing. I enjoyed spending quality time with my sweet little girl. Dale surprised me with Emily in the crib holding her card. She even signed it!! Granted, it wasn't legible, but it was her first signature. He put the flowers in the crib. I am the luckiest woman in the world.

Let me show you my belly button...
Emily is constantly grabbing at her shirt, her bib, you name it and putting everything in her mouth. Every morning we have a little picture session and she smiles so pretty for the camera. What a HAM! :) It was the funniest thing yesterday. The daycare caretaker was telling me about how Emily let out the loudest burp and all the kids stopped and looked at her. When she was telling me about it, I started laughing and Emily busted out laughing too. She laughed because mommy was laughing. Then it was a chain reaction - I started laughing at her laughing, she laughed at me laughing, and so on...This little girl is too cute.

Milestone: Emily Rolled over!!
Emily hit a new milestone today- she rolled over!! Over the weekend during tummy time, I noticed her pushing her chest up really high in the air and it almost looked as if she was about to roll over a few times. Most kids don't actually roll over until about 4-6 months. She's already imitating sounds too, which most babies don't usually do until around 5 months. What a smart little girl! On a sad note, I think she may be in the starting phases of teething. She is drooling a lot and wants to bite on everything!

Emily sitting with daddy
Emily was able to sit up straight (with assistance from daddy of course) and watch TV with us on the couch. It was so cute when the movie all of the sudden got really loud and Emily nearly jumped off the couch. She is jumpy just like her mommy. She is able to hold her head up for a short while now. It was so hard to get her attention for this picture since her eyes were glued on the TV!
