Emily finally took a few steps by herself! We're still building her confidence so she'll walk on her own some more, but she's getting there. She's so close!
Emily is modeling her new Christmas outfit and sneakers and standing ALL BY HERSELF! Yesterday at the daycare they said she walked all by herself. So proud of my big girl! She's growing up so fast. All she wants to do now is walk, walk, walk all over the place.
Now that Emily is crawling, a whole new world has opened up and she is curious about EVERYTHING. Even with a bag full of toys, she still manages to go for the neatly folded blankets, cords, or blinds. She's too funny. Here I caught her unfolding all of her blankets and towels I just folded a few min ago. I left her alone for a second and found here there lol
Grandma's always know how to make you feel better when you're not feeling good, whether it's with a pot of homeade chicken soup or a little touch of love. Poor emily has been vomiting a lot today. They sent her home from day care. I really think it was something she ate that didn't agree with her. Grandma came over to help and Emily fell right asleep in her arms. She played hard with grandma!
It seems like every day Emily is learning something new. Today she started playing peek-a-boo with me. She held the blanket in front of her face and pulled it down really fast. When she pulled the blanket down, I would say "Peek-a-boo" and she would bust out laughing. We have so much fun together.
I couldn't resist it. I had to buy this little baby piano at Toys R Us. It plays all kinds of music and teaches numbers & animals too. Emily absolutely loves it! It was completely worth it to see her bopping up and down to the music. Now everytime she hears music she starts bopping up and down. I think this little girl is going to be involved with music or dancing when she gets older. Emily is really sitting up good on her own now. It's amazing how fast she is growing up.
